§ 10. [Effective date.]

This franchise ordinance shall be in force, and effective, from and after the passage of this ordinance, conditioned that company file the written acceptance above provided, within the period provided, after the passage of this ordinance, and thereupon this franchise shall become a binding contract, and shall exist for a period of 50 years from the date of its passage.

Passed and duly enacted as an ordinance of the City of Vidor, Texas, at a regular meeting of the Board of Aldermen of Vidor, Texas, in accordance with the laws of the said State of Texas, on this the 25th day of August A.D., 1960.
